Decoupage Mirrors

These mirrors are decoupaged incorporating hand-made papers, original photographs, and a variety of collected materials to surround the mirror glass. The glass is an “antique” style that adds some texture to the reflections.

Lighthouse Mirror

This mirror incorporates hand-made papers and Karen’s original photographs to create a decoupage that surrounds the mirror glass. The mirror glass is an “antique” style that adds some texture to the reflections. The sides are distressed paint.

The lighthouse is located on Beavertail Point at the south end of Connanicut Island in Rhode Island.

The mirror measures 18” by 10” and is 2.5” inches deep. The glass is 11” by 3”. The decoupage surface is coated with a clear polymer that has been softened to a matte finish.

Square Flower Mirror

This small square mirror incorporates hand-made papers, original photography, and a variety of collected materials to create a decoupage that surrounds the mirror glass. The glass is an “antique” style that adds some texture to the reflections.

The mirror is 6 ⅝” square and ½” deep. The glass is 3” by 3” The surface is coated with clear acrylic so that the texture of the decoupage work is apparent.

Summer Garden Mirror

This mirror incorporates hand-made papers and Karen’s original photographs of White Clematis to create a decoupage that surrounds the mirror glass. The glass is an “antique” style that adds some texture to the reflections. The decoupage extends to include the frame sides.

The mirror measures 18” by 10” and is 2.5” inches deep. The glass is 11” by 3”. The surface is coated with a clear acrylic so that the texture of the decoupage is present.
